Is StudyVault free to use?

Yes. StudyVault is completely free to use.

Does StudyVault require an internet connection?

No. StudyVault is an offline-first application. Once installed, all features work without an internet connection.

Where are my screenshots stored?

All screenshots are stored locally on your device. StudyVault does not upload your images to any external server.

Can I import multiple screenshots at once?

Yes. You can select multiple images from any supported app and import them into StudyVault in a single operation.

How do I import screenshots from another app?

  1. Select one or more images.
  2. Tap Share.
  3. Choose StudyVault.
  4. Select a Subject, Chapter, and Section.

Your screenshots will be imported automatically.

What happens if a chapter or section does not exist?

Create the required chapter or section first, then continue the import process.

Can I edit or delete the default subjects?

No. The default subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) are built into the application and cannot be edited or deleted.

Can I create my own chapters?

Yes. You can create custom chapters and organize your study material as needed.

Can I rename chapters and sections?

Yes. Chapters and sections can be renamed at any time.

Can I delete chapters or sections?

No. Chapters and sections cannot be deleted. This helps preserve your study structure and prevents accidental data loss.

How do I delete a screenshot?

Long press the screenshot, confirm the deletion, and the image will be permanently removed from the selected section.

Can I zoom in on screenshots?

Yes. The built-in image viewer supports pinch-to-zoom and swipe gestures for navigating between screenshots.

Can I use StudyVault without creating an account?

Yes. StudyVault does not require an account or sign-in.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your screenshots and study data remain on your device. StudyVault does not collect or upload your personal data.
